How to Get to the OBX

As there are no signficant commercial airports remarkably close to the Outer Banks, most people choose to drive.  The traffic can be a heavy, depending on how you're coming, but that doesn't mean the trip has to be a complete drag.  

As we fill out our content, we're hoping to provide some ideas to travelers about places to stop along the way TO the Outer Banks, to help break up the drive for you, and make the trip to and from the islands more enjoyable.
